Romany Malco Learned From ‘Think Like A Man’

It is awesome when an actor reads to get better at his craft like Romany Malco. He didn’t just act in Think Like a Man, he read Steve Harvey’s book and learned a lot from it. He took the part seriously and researched how to play the part the right way. It is definitely going to be a great movie to see.

  While he admits that past abandonment issues caused him to spoil women he dated, the advice Steve offered persuaded him to change his ways. It doesn’t mean he is going to be mean to women. It just means e is going to be more of a man in the relationship then ruining the relationship from smothering and over doing it when he is committed with a woman.

  “When I dated, I would overcompensate. I’d spoil the girl. I’d do uber-nice things. I would start off with the honeymoon and work up from there,” he said. “The book gave me permission to be a man.” This is a good thing because when a man over compensates to make the relationship wonderful, it can actually hinder it. Hopefully the women he was with didn’t use the break up line of “You are just too nice” or “you are too predictable” like n the movie European Vacation.

  For women who like being spoiled, that may seem like a cop out, but Romany explained that he still knows how to treat a lady. It’s just that he takes his time before reaching that level now. That frees him to be himself and not just play the Romeo part.
Another thing about this is many women like a man to be a man. That doesn’t mean to be rude or ungentlemanly, but to not smother the woman. Nothing wrong with opening door, pulling out chairs, but just don’t over due it, or it can backfire on you.

 Women love to be spoiled, but don’t make it here she expects it all the time. Always treat a woman with tender, love and care
